Medicare comes with many costs: premiums, deductibles, copays and
coinsurance. If you sign up late for certain parts of your coverage, you could
pay a lifelong penalty. You can consider supplemental insurance to fill in
coverage gaps OR a Medicare Advantage (Part C) plan to reduce out of pocket
expenses and at the same time provide extra benefits like Dental, Routine
Vision, etc.
Special Needs plans may also be available if you have certain chronic health conditions or have State Medicaid Benefits.
